 We are a distributor of fine massage tools, body care products & educational materials.  We focus on fair trade, natural and organic.

Bodytools truly had humble beginnings. Bodytools began in 1982 out of the trunk of an orange Volkswagen hatchback in Venice Beach, CA selling massage tables to the local community. Later, the operation moved to nearby Van Nuys, CA. Additionally we traveled extensively all over the country, being on the road for weeks at a time visiting stores and going to trade shows to build the business.

In 1987 we opened a storefront in Sherman Oaks, California.

In 1994 we sold the retail store location to The Bodywork Emporium so we could focus solely on wholesale supplying and manufacturing. We then moved to Novato in Northern California adding a wholesale warehouse. Then we subsequently moved once again in 2000 to a small ranch in Lakeport, CA and again in 2011 to an industrial park near Middletown, CA which is a our largest facility to date. We have returned to retail selling as well through our website.

We will be developing pure, natural, organic, healthy and fair trade health products.  We are working on educational videos as well.
